Survivor Support Services

CASP is currently compiling a list of suicide survivor resources, counselling and support services in each province and territory. If you are aware of any such resources/supports in your community please contact our national office at casp@casp-acps.ca and share this information with us so that we can in turn share it with others.

Ontario Suicide Prevention Network 

Survivor Bereavement Groups:

Canadian Mental Health, Brantford offers a suicide bereavement support group on the third Wednesday of each mongh at 7:00 p.m. .  Location:  Stedman Community Hospice, Wayne Gretzky Parkway.

Friends in Grief, Hamilton, offers a suicide bereavement support group on the second Wednesday of each month at Bay Gardens Funeral Home, 7pm.  Location is 947 Rymal Road East.  905 318-0059,fig@mountaincable.net.

Canadian Mental Health Association London-Middlesex offers a suicide bereavement support group on the second Tuesday of each month from  7:00 to 9:00 pm.  As well, we offer a professionally facilitated 8-week group 2-3 times per year.  Both groups are free.  Location: 648 Huron Street.  For more information, please call 519-434-0077, ext 244, or email grief@london.cmha.ca
