Do you know someone who is passionate about suicide prevention? Consider making a donation in their honour. It’s a great way to let them know you are supportive of their advocacy in suicide prevention.
Upon request, we will mail a card to your honouree on your behalf letting them know you made a donation in their honour. You can also send them an email card directly.. Both these options are available upon donating online.
In Memory of
Grieving is one of life’s most challenging experiences. If you know someone who is struggling with suicide loss, we encourage you to read how you can offer support. A donation in memory of their loved one is an added option and we will mail a card upon request with your donation.
Confidentiality
Rest assured, all donation amounts made to CASP are kept confidential. When you donate directly to CASP using Canada Helps or by mailing a cheque, the amount is never shared. This information remains strictly confidential between us and yourself.
If you are using another site that we do not manage ourselves, we recommend carefully reading their privacy rules and whether or not your donation amount is disclosed or kept confidential
How to choose a card type
To choose an eCard or a card mailed on your behalf, just scroll past the payment information and put the person’s name in the box that says “Enter Name” (address will come later).
There will be drop down box to choose either, “Send a free eCard” or “Send a card on my behalf”.
If you choose “send a free eCard”, you choose the image and then the field to enter the person’s email address will appear.
If you choose “send a card on my behalf”, the mailing address fields will appear.
